THOSE ABOUT TO DIE Trailer

It seems that Peacock is joining the list of production houses that is getting into the ancient historical fiction genre. Well, bring it on! With an actor like Anthony Hopkins it seems like they might also be sinking some money into this gladiator show. Whether the story line holds any water we will have to wait to see, but I won’t balk at another show highlighting the bizarre and complex story of the human past. Especially one that focuses on the struggle of the historical warrior culture.

Vikings: Valhalla Season 3

I am a little surprised this is the last season. I was kind of hoping they would flesh out more of this historical fiction with all the places and cultures that the Viking people crossed swords with. Between the original show and this one they did cover a lot of ground, including the influence they had in Eastern Europe which doesn’t get cover as often, but there are still so many juicy stories to be told in that early middle ages period. Well I just hope that this final season goes out with a bang.
